To live a happy and fulfilled life we only need to concentrate on a few things that will make our lives complete. Everyone has a different idea of what happiness means for their lives and what dreams they would like to come true. But the reality is that happiness comes from within and are ones that create our own destiny. This simply means that if we choose to be happy, know matter what is happening in our lives, we will be happy.
The most important thing I believe that we sometimes take for granted is our health and well-being. Good health and a strong mindset can lead you to achieve anything you want in life. Your health is your wealth and without it, we may not be able to live the life we have always dreamt of. This may be because of a health issue may slow us down or you've reached a point of no return. This is not to say that people with a health issue cannot achieve things in life but it may be more difficult than an able bodied person. This also includes our mental health and mindset because if we do not have a positive mental picture and can visualise greatness, this may lead to a setback. Also remember to love yourself and take care of your body. Take pride in your appearance from time to time and all I mean by this is treat yourself sometimes. Look in the mirror and say "I Love you, you're looking so good today" and believe it.
Secondly, remember to spend quality time with your family and friends. Well the people that love and appreciate you for who you are. Your not going to always get the best family and friends but you don't have to waste time with people who are not for you. This is your choice, just remember that if necessary you can love family from a distance and end friendships that are not for you. You need people that will inspire, congratulate and love you for who you are without the need for ego. Remember this world can be a lonely place if you spend it alone, so love each other and show it with actions not just words.
Thirdly, live the life you want to live, whether it's a simple life as a minimalist or in the dream house you've always wanted. We all have different interests and ambitions. Whatever you do as a job and where ever you live, take pride in looking after the interior and exterior.
These are three of the major things I personally think have an effect on our daily lives and on our progression. If we live in a confused state of mind, our appearance may start to show signs of this. But I suppose many people are very good at hiding this factor. If our homes are in utter chaos this will definitely have an effect on the way we live. Just the same as if our place of work is in total chaos, the business will not function correctly.
Our homes are usually the place we like to unwind and relax from a hard day at work or just the day in general. So if we neglect the surroundings we live in, we will not benefit from the feeling of complete relaxation, with a sense of peace and tranquillity. If we are in a state of chaos, meaning that things are all over the place or you just can't find anything. Not only is our surroundings going to be untidy or cluttered but our minds and well-being will be effected. Not everyone will neglect their homes just because they are lazy but it can happen for a number of reasons that maybe out of our control. This will take a toll on life as a whole because our thoughts are the first thing that happens before we take action. So if our thoughts are jumbled and confused a similar confused action may follow.
We need to create a balanced lifestyle because it is very unlikely that anyone is perfect. I don't think anyone can say they have never had anything out of place at home or at work. Or the plans they have made goes the way we want it all the time. But we can find ways to make things work for us as individuals and have a system in place that can be followed easily and suit our needs. So we can achieve a more simpler and happier way to live, so our lifestyles works for us and not against us.
Some of us have families to take care of and some people are busy at work for long hours. Others may have a physical or mental health issue that prevents them from doing certain things. So it is not easy for everyone to keep on track of everything that needs to be done everyday. What we need to do is simply acknowledge that certain things need to be achieved in terms of keeping things in order and do one thing at a time. Its not only about being lazy, as many times things get on top of us as we have so many other important things to take care of.
Just remember to never neglect having a positive mindset, change those negative thoughts into positive ones. Never give up and ask for help when you need it.
